CEMENTLESS CUP

Material

  • Titanium Alloy TiAl6V4 (NF ISO 5832-3)
  • Rought (2µm Ra)
  • Hydroxyapatite coating (HAC) (NF ISO 13799-2 ; 3 ; 4)

Shape

  • « Triradius » Concept using since 1989 on CERAFIT Cup
    • Median area : nominal acetabulum radius
    • Equator : 1 mm peripheral build-up (equatorial press-fit)
    • Pole : slight flattening
  • Macrostructure to increase the bone contact surface
  • Two holes for additional acetabular screw fixation (optional)

ALUMINA LINER

Material

  • Alumina ceramic (NF ISO 6474-1)

Shape

  • 5°42’ conical fitting, fixation method used by CERAVER since 1982
  • Extented conical connection allows optimal distribution of the loads, and provides higher mechanical strength
  • 6mm minimum thickness
  • Centering peg

Combined with

Alumina femoral heads with 28mm or 32mm diameter according to liner size.

POLYETHYLENE LINER - Standard Version

Material

  • Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) (NF ISO 5834-2)

Shape

  • 5°42’ conical fitting
  • 7mm minimum thickness

POLYETHYLENE LINER - With Lip Version

Material

  • Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) (NF ISO 5834-2)

Shape

  • Raised lip extending the portion of the sphere in order to prevent the risk of femoral head dislocation
